Batch Cropping

What is batch cropping?

Batch cropping means applying the same crop or size to multiple images at once. With MintyCrop, you can upload many images, choose sizes, and export all results in one click.

Can MintyCrop crop multiple images at once?

Yes. MintyCrop is designed for batch cropping. You can upload many images, apply the same crop or sizes, and export everything in one action.

Does MintyCrop keep crops consistent across images?

Yes. MintyCrop applies the same crop logic consistently across all images, which is useful when preparing social media content that needs to align visually.

Can MintyCrop handle large batches of images?

Yes. MintyCrop is optimized for working with many images at once and exporting them efficiently without manual repetition.

How does MintyCrop reduce repetitive work?

MintyCrop lets you apply the same crop, rotation, and sizes to multiple images at once, reducing repetitive manual adjustments.

Carousel Cropping

How do Instagram carousel crops work in MintyCrop?

Carousel crops are created as one unified image. You crop once, choose 2 to 4 slides, and MintyCrop splits the image evenly so the carousel stays aligned.

Why are MintyCrop carousels more consistent?

MintyCrop creates carousels as one unified crop instead of separate images. This prevents misalignment between slides and keeps visual elements aligned across the entire carousel.

Why can't I just crop each carousel slide separately?

You can, but it leads to misaligned edges and visual jumps between slides. When you crop each slide independently, tiny differences in framing accumulate across the carousel. MintyCrop solves this by treating the entire carousel as one wide image — you crop once and every slide shares exactly the same framing.

Does any other tool do unified carousel cropping?

Most tools that split images into carousel slides work from a pre-sized image you provide — they don't let you crop and adjust composition first. MintyCrop combines the crop and the split into one unified workflow, which is what makes the alignment consistent.

Features

Can I rotate images while cropping?

Yes. You can rotate images while cropping to straighten horizons or fix alignment. Rotation works on both desktop and mobile and never shows empty background areas.

Does MintyCrop support custom image sizes?

Yes. MintyCrop supports custom sizes on paid plans, allowing you to define exact dimensions and reuse them across multiple images.

For Photographers

Is MintyCrop suitable for professional photographers?

Yes. MintyCrop is useful for professional photographers who need to export multiple crops or social media formats efficiently after editing images.

How does MintyCrop fit into a Lightroom workflow?

Many photographers edit images in Lightroom or Photoshop first, then export full-resolution files and use MintyCrop for fast, consistent cropping and resizing.

Why not just use Lightroom export presets?

Lightroom presets are powerful, but managing multiple crops, carousels, or grid-style outputs can be slow. MintyCrop focuses specifically on efficient cropping and layout consistency.

Can MintyCrop replace Photoshop for cropping?

No. MintyCrop does not replace Photoshop for detailed editing. It complements Photoshop by handling repetitive cropping and exporting tasks after editing is complete.

Does MintyCrop preserve image quality?

Yes. MintyCrop uses high-quality scaling when exporting images, making it suitable for professional use when preparing images for web or social platforms.

Can I prepare multiple social media formats from the same photos?

Yes. MintyCrop allows you to apply multiple crop sizes to the same images, which is useful when preparing content for different platforms from a single shoot.

What problem does MintyCrop solve for photographers?

MintyCrop reduces the time spent on repetitive cropping and exporting tasks, allowing photographers to focus on editing and shooting instead of manual resizing.

General

What is MintyCrop?

MintyCrop is a fast, focused tool for batch cropping images for social media. It lets you crop many images at once, create Instagram carousels as one unified crop, split images into grids, and export everything instantly.

Who is MintyCrop for?

MintyCrop is built for content creators, photographers, social media managers, designers, and small teams who want to resize and crop images quickly without repetitive manual work.

How is MintyCrop different from Canva?

Canva is a general design tool, while MintyCrop is specialized for cropping and exporting images efficiently. If you already know the sizes you need and want to save time, MintyCrop is faster for batch workflows.

Can MintyCrop remove backgrounds?

No. MintyCrop does not remove backgrounds. It is intentionally focused on cropping, resizing, carousels, and grid exports to stay fast and simple.

Why is MintyCrop faster than general design tools?

MintyCrop is built specifically for cropping and exporting images, not for layout or design. Because it focuses on one workflow, it removes extra steps like templates, layers, and manual resizing, making batch cropping much faster.

Is MintyCrop suitable for professional workflows?

Yes. MintyCrop is designed for repeatable, predictable workflows where speed and consistency matter more than visual design tools.

Does MintyCrop require design skills?

No. MintyCrop focuses on cropping and exporting, so it does not require design experience or layout knowledge.

What problem does MintyCrop solve best?

MintyCrop solves the problem of resizing and cropping many images quickly and consistently, especially for social media publishing.

Does MintyCrop work on mobile?

Yes. MintyCrop works in the browser and supports touch interactions, including cropping and rotation.

Do I need to install anything?

No. MintyCrop works entirely in the browser. There is nothing to download or install.

Are my photos safe and private?

Yes. MintyCrop processes all images directly in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to any server — not ours, not anyone else's. They stay completely on your device throughout the entire crop and export process.

Does MintyCrop work with iPhone photos?

Yes. MintyCrop supports HEIC files — the default format iPhones shoot in. Most batch cropping tools require you to convert HEIC files first. MintyCrop converts them automatically in your browser so you can go straight from your camera roll to a finished export.

How is MintyCrop different from other batch crop tools?

Most batch crop tools apply the same size to multiple images but treat each image independently. MintyCrop adds three things they don't have: unified carousel cropping (crop once, split into aligned slides), a Grid Cutter for Instagram puzzle grids, and full HEIC support for iPhone photographers — all without uploading your photos to any server.

Grid Cutter

What is the Grid Cutter feature?

Grid Cutter splits each image into a grid such as 2×2, 3×3, or up to 10×10 tiles. It works like a crop size and applies to all uploaded images.

Can MintyCrop be used for Instagram grids?

Yes. The Grid Cutter feature allows you to split images into grids, which can be used for Instagram grid-style posts.

Why is Grid Cutter more efficient than manual cropping?

Grid Cutter automatically splits each image into evenly sized tiles based on a single crop. This removes the need to manually calculate dimensions or crop each tile individually.

How does Grid Cutter save time for batch workflows?

Grid Cutter applies the same grid logic to all images in a session. Once configured, every image is processed the same way, eliminating repetitive setup for each file.

Does Grid Cutter require editing each tile separately?

No. Grid Cutter works from a single unified crop and splits the image automatically. There is no per-tile editing, which keeps the process fast and consistent.

How does Grid Cutter maintain consistency across images?

Grid Cutter uses the same crop, rotation, and grid parameters for every image, ensuring that all grid outputs align consistently across a batch.

When is Grid Cutter especially useful?

Grid Cutter is especially useful when preparing Instagram grid posts, large images split across multiple posts, or any workflow where images must be divided evenly and exported quickly.

How does Grid Cutter compare to doing this in Photoshop?

In Photoshop, creating grids usually requires guides, manual slicing, and repeated exports. Grid Cutter automates this process, reducing setup time and minimizing manual errors.

Pricing & Plans

Is there a free plan?

Yes. MintyCrop has a free plan that allows up to 30 export actions per month. Each export counts once, regardless of how many images or sizes are included.

What do I get with the Pro plan?

The Pro plan includes unlimited exports, custom sizes, carousel cropping, and the Grid Cutter feature. It is designed for individual creators who crop images regularly.

Is there a Team plan?

Yes. The Team plan allows multiple people to share one subscription. Team members get access to Pro features while the owner manages billing.

Do free users see Pro features?

Yes. Pro features are visible but gated, so users can see what MintyCrop can do before upgrading.

Privacy & Security

Does MintyCrop upload my photos to a server?

No. All image processing happens entirely in your browser using your device's own computing power. Your photos never leave your device — not for cropping, not for export, not for any reason. MintyCrop has no access to your images at any point.

Is MintyCrop safe for confidential or professional photos?

Yes. Because all processing is browser-based and no images are transmitted anywhere, MintyCrop is safe for client photos, professional shoots, and any images you wouldn't want stored on a third-party server.

Why does browser-based processing matter?

Most online image tools upload your photos to their servers to process them. This means your images pass through someone else's infrastructure, get stored temporarily, and are subject to that company's privacy policy. MintyCrop never does this — your images go directly from your device to your export ZIP, with nothing in between.

Is MintyCrop useful for social media managers?

Yes. MintyCrop helps social media managers quickly prepare image sets for different platforms without manually resizing each image.
